Five days on a show floor: the only build anyone has played

A hard alpha, three of six classes, no tutorial — and why a stand build is not a demo and predicts nothing about one.

The game was playable for five days at a trade show in late August 2026, on a stand in Hall 9, and that is the only time anybody outside the studio has held a controller. Verified Nothing has been offered publicly since — no demo, no playtest, no beta, no sign-up list. Verified

What was on the machines

An alpha build, starting characters somewhere around level 30 rather than at the beginning, with three of the six classes selectable and no tutorial in front of them. One source It was described as deliberately hard, and a figure of roughly five per cent of players reaching the end of the section has circulated. One source

That percentage is the shakiest number attached to this game and it is repeated more than anything else about it. One account, no methodology published, no confirmation from anyone who ran the stand. Treat it as the impression of a difficult demo rather than as a measurement.

Why a show build is not a demo

A build at a stand is assembled for a ten-minute queue: it starts mid-game so a visitor sees abilities rather than a tutorial, it is balanced for a spectator, and it is not shipped anywhere. None of that carries over to a public demo, and the existence of one does not imply the other.

The store listing carries no demo entry and no playtest attached to it. Verified That is the thing actually worth watching: a demo appears on a store page before it appears in an announcement, and this site watches that page for exactly this reason.
